The Shiro Project

This Summer I have been working on ‘the shiro project’ with writer Lucy Smith.

Text from Lucy Smith.

The Shiro Project will take place in Cardiff this September, with an online talk from none other than Professor Lynne Boddy – a fungi expert from Cardiff University – and the main event, our activity day at @globalgardensproject , where all you lovely people will be creating ceramic sculptures and written pieces inspired by all your new fungi knowledge.

At the end of the project, we’ll hold an exhibition at Global Gardens displaying the community’s artwork. 🎨🍄

You don’t need any experience whatsoever to join us, and all events are free. Tickets will be available soon – be sure to spread the message far and wide!

The Shiro Project is supported by @growwilduk , the national outreach learning initiative of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
